The maneki neko is a popular symbol of good luck, beckoning good fortune, happiness and prosperity to your home and business.  The white cat welcomes happiness, the black brings good health, and the golden cat attracts wealth.  Some say the raised left paw is good for business, whereas the right paw invites happiness.  After considerable research however, we could never get a definitive answer.  Such is the nature of cats.  (An explanation sheet is included with every maneki neko purchase.)
